EASTSIDE ARTS FESTIVAL | plein air drawing tour in strathcona park

Explore the art of drawing directly from nature in this outdoor landscape drawing tour, visiting various sites around Strathcona Park for plein-air drawing. Students will learn to observe light, atmosphere, proportion, composition, and perspective while working on location. Instruction will include techniques for simplifying natural forms and developing confident line and value relationships. Suitable for beginners and continuing students alike, this class encourages careful observation, personal expression, and a deeper connection with the landscape through drawing.
