    About the Artist

Janine Schroedter is a multi-disciplinary artist who creates in printmaking, painting and
ceramics. Her work is driven from her passion for the natural world and our effects on it. Some work is a playful record of humanistic behaviour in animals others are reflection of our actions as a society, either to each other or to nature itself. Holding a mirror to ourselves she works to create bridges between causes that may feel far away and ones in our own backyard. Janine is also an art teacher who helps bring creativity to Vancouver and Burnaby community centres. She has developed and run art classes and camps in both ceramics and visual arts to children and adults, as well as small printmaking classes in her studio.
