EASTSIDE ARTS FESTIVAL | explore the arts community from chinatown to strathcona

Come explore the hidden studios, community spaces, and gardens of East Vancouver’s Chinatown and Strathcona with local artist Candice Weber. On this tour, we will travel off the beaten path and get an intimate look into a thriving art scene. Starting out in Chinatown, we will tour a number of art and community spaces and then continue into Strathcona to visit unique spots that never cease to inspire.
What to Bring:
This walk takes place outdoors, so participants should arrive for the walk with comfortable, appropriate footwear and clothing for the weather conditions at hand, as well as sunscreen, water bottle etc.
Accessibility:
The route includes a variety buildings that may not be wheelchair accessible, and terrain including paved sidewalks, though some areas may be narrow and curb cuts may be inconsistent.
There are no benches or seating along the route.
Public washrooms may be available at end of the walk
The pace of the walk can be adjusted to accommodate the group’s needs.
