    Join this workshop to learn a variety of exciting techniques for creating unique, raised 3D elements in your embroidery projects with beads, sequins, and embroidery floss!

    DATES & TIMES:

    • Monday, July 21 at 7:00pm at Off The Rail Brewing
    • Tuesday, July 22 at 7:00pm at Off The Rail Brewing

    LENGTH: 1.5 hours

    LOCATION: Off The Rail Brewing, 1351 Adanac St. Vancouver, BC V5L 2C4. Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your workshop time to allow time to check in. There will be somone to help you check-in at the brewery.

    AGES: Adults and Youth Ages 12+ (Minors must be accompanied by an adult), Suitable for beginners and up

    PRICE: $35 per person per workshop

    ACCESSIBILITY: This location is wheelchair accessible, with a wheelchair accessible, gender-neutral bathroom. We will communicate verbally with members of the public using listening and spoken language in English. Seating in the studio is varied, some may have chairs or stools at short height, counter, or bar height seating. Weight capacities of seating is unknown. Please let us know if you have any accessibility needs.

    About the Artist

    Candice Weber is the artist behind Loudly Insecure- a fibre art studio operating out of Vancouver, BC. She is a multidisciplinary fibre artist and filmmaker. Although her academic training was primarily in animation and film; she discovered a passion through fine art courses, artist residencies, and volunteer work in maker spaces that grew to include jewelry design, laser cutting, CNC guided embroidery, rug tufting as well as traditional crafts like weaving, beading, and hand embroidery.
